Countrywide Chooses Attinger Jack for £600k DRTV and Press Campaign
October 14, 2008
Countrywide Ltd, the UK’s only glass veranda specialist, has appointed Attinger Jack as its advertising and customer generation agency.
The appointment, worth an estimated £600k in the first year, will see Attinger Jack undertake a press and DRTV television campaign promoting Countrywide’s product range of exclusive glass verandas, atriums, garage doors, awnings and glass rooms.
The main focus of the campaign will be customer lead generation in order to generate sales for Countrywide’s in-house sales force, as well as to establish Countrywide as an innovative and creative company within the home extension and improvements sector.
Established in 2007, Countrywide holds exclusive UK marketing-rights to German-made glass verandas that dramatically reduce construction costs and do not need planning permission. Glass verandas have taken a substantial market-share within Germany and it is hoped that this trend will be repeated in the UK.
With a first year test budget of £50k per month, Attinger Jack will create 60 second DRTV ads for use across UK terrestrial and satellite channels as well as press ads within national and magazine press.
David Attinger, Managing Director of Attinger Jack, says: “the home improvement market has been hit hard with one in four UK conservatory companies selling at a loss (Plimsoll research). This is partly due to high cost and planning regulations – two problems which glass verandas don’t face. We’re incredibly excited to have been chosen to launch this innovative product range in the UK.”
