Precision Marketing RIP

Oh dear.Attinger Jack was sad to learn that esteemed trade publication Precision Marketing has bitten the dust and has published its final issue.  The title rose to prominence in 1988 and has been a loyal servant to direct response specialists since that time.  We’re sad to see it go and we especially wish Sara Kimberley the best of luck. Keep in touch Sara!

 

On a brighter note, the ex-editor Mark Choueke, who we met in November has moved to become editor of Marketing Week. Good luck Mark and we’ll look forward to taking you out again soon.

 

Even brighter, for us at least, was that our very own Alex Attinger was the lead columnist in the final issue. The subject? Traditional DM agencies simply don’t ‘get’ lead generation and should subcontract it out to the specialists i.e. us!!
